Why I’m Passionate About Unifying Patients and Research:
I am passionate about unifying patients with clinical research because being a research participant saved my life. As a child, I participated in an oncology research study that provided the treatment and care that I needed to survive. Research saves lives and provides people with hope. I am grateful to serve in an industry that creates these opportunities.
With a passion for clinical research, Heather Fitzgerald brings over 15 years of regulatory, operational, and compliance experience in the human research protection field to Univo IRB. She is a highly valuable member of the leadership team who specializes in IRB operations, IRB systems, and corporate-wide training. Prior to Univo IRB, Heather served in leadership roles at Independent IRB, Schulman, and Advarra, where she quickly rose through the ranks by demonstrating a keen understanding of operational infrastructure, IRB systems, and customer experience.
