Why I’m Passionate About Unifying Patients and Research:
This work holds real meaning, a sentiment I haven’t always felt in my career. Knowing that my efforts enable patients to access lifesaving clinical trials drives me to provide the best customer and patient IRB experience possible.
Betsy Casillo has over 12 years of experience in human research protection and more than 10 years in market research analysis. As the Director of Customer Experience at Univo IRB, she is responsible for the entire life cycle of a customer, engaging and supporting them based on their needs and ensuring their Univo IRB experience is nothing less than excellent. Before Univo IRB, Betsy served in various roles at Schulman and Advarra IRBs building and supporting the customer experience and bridging the gap between local and central IRBs. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in sport studies.
